Kisholoy Goswami, PhD, President and Chief Technology Officer, is a
cofounder of INNOSENSE LLC. He played the key role in developing the world's
first commercial fiber optic chemical sensor for hydrocarbons (PetroSense®),
when he was the Director of Research at FiberChem, a Nevada corporation. He
raised $3 million in private investment for the development the PetroSense
family of products. Dr. Goswami has 26 years of experience in developing
optical materials and sensors with 11 relevant US patents. He received his
PhD in Physical Organic Chemistry from Boston University, where he conducted
nanosecond laser-based fast kinetic studies on polymer-bound organic dyes.
At the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, Dr. Goswami studied
photo-properties of polymer-bound Zn porphyrin for solar energy conversion.
Prior to joining INNOSENSE LLC, Dr. Goswami spent 19 years with small
businesses developing commercially viable sensors.
