Arun Majumdar, PhD, Chief Engineer,
has demonstrated leadership skills in research and development for the last
20 years. He specializes in laser/electro-optics applications in industry,
national laboratory, and university settings. He obtained his PhD in
Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Irvine, and an
M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. Dr.
Majumdar has been responsible for the direction, technical development, and
management of contracts involving: (i) Signal and Image Processing (Optical
Correlator, E/O Sensors, hyperspectral imaging, target detection); and (ii)
Image and Data Compression (classification, automatic object recognition).
He has published over 50 journal and conference papers, and technical
reports.
